MINUTES OF FOURTH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Monday 10th October 2011 at 7pm at Rose Room, Petersfield

The Chairman thanked everyone for attending.


Apologies for Absence


Gary Butler, Tracy Chandler, Jamie Cummins, Sam Farrow, Amanda Greenlee, Les Jarman, Peter Marshall, Lucy Soal, Graham Steaggles. There were 16 attendees.


Minutes of the Third AGM held on Monday 15th March 2010


The minutes of the third AGM held on Monday 15th March 2010 were accepted without amendment.


To receive the report of the Chairman


The Chairman read his report and it was received.


To receive the report of the Treasurer and adopt the Partnership Accounts for the period 1 August 2009 to 31 July 2011


The Chairman read the Treasurer’s report of the Partnership Accounts for the period 1 Aug 2009 to 31 July 2011.
A minor error was noted – the funding received by the Biodiversity Group is £700 and that for the 1st April is £1,700.
The Treasurer’s report was received and adopted. The Treasurer was thanked for the quality of the new accounting process.


To Elect the Officers of The Partnership


The Chairman explained that the Treasurer was standing down from the Management Committee because due to work commitments in London he was rarely able to attend meetings. Tony Struthers informed the meeting that he was standing down. Gary and Tony were thanked for their strong contributions to the Partnership.

The following officers were elected:
• Chairman: Bob Ayer
• Vice Chairman: Terena Plowright
• Treasurer: Margaret Plumridge
• Hon Secretary: Amanda Greenlee
• Public Relations Officer: Nick Keith


To Elect the Management Committee


The following members were elected:
• Hilary Ayer, Tracy Chandler, Sam Farrow, Amanda Greenlee, Vincent Edberg, Tallulah Lewis, Graham Steaggles.
Cllr Peter Marshall was confirmed as the Petersfield Town Council’s representative.


Formal Closure of Meeting


The meeting was formally closed at 7.30 pm and was followed by by an informal discussion on future priorities for the Partnership.

A short update on the Lavant Street Improvement Project was given in response to questions.
